In the city of Monstropolis, monsters harvest children’s screams as an energy source. In the midst of an energy crisis, James P. Sullivan is the best scarer in the business. However, when an innocent child named Boo crosses over into this world of monsters, Sulley finds his entire life – and everything that he believed – turned upside down.
At time of recording, it was ranked 200th on the list of the best movies of all time on the Internet Movie Database.

Throw Momma From the Train feels like something of a dry run for Danny DeVito. The actor had previously directed a cable television movie, The Ratings Game, but Throw Momma From the Train represented his theatrical directorial début. While not nearly as effective as his follow-up, the classic War of the Roses, Throw Momma From the Train sustains itself with an interesting premise and two charming lead performances that help cover for a script that isn’t anywhere near as darkly comic as it would like to think that it is.

If you don’t love Pixar, you should see a doctor immediately. Because you clearly have no heart, which can lead to all manner of unpleasant complications. Okay, maybe Monsters Inc. is one of the more conventional entries in Pixar’s animated canon, but it’s an example of how – even when being as close to conventional as they can – Pixar are still absolutely incredible, blowing all the other major American animation studios out of the water.
