Vanity Fair have published this chart of the deaths in Quentin Tarantino’s film – breaking down each film in the director’s filmography by number and method of death. Yes, there is a lot of fire in Inglourious Basterds. It’s interesting to examine, if only because it is (generally speaking) a lot less bloody than I would have expected. I didn’t realise that Kill Bill, Vol. 1 only had 62 on-screen deaths. (That said, I did expect Kill Bill,Vol. 2 to have a much lower count – 13 sounds about right.) Anyway, check it out below.

awesome 🙂
That’s an awesome chart. It would be interesting to see that type of chart for more movies.

This is just perfect. Still need to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Jackie Brown but otherwise, I can attest to the accuracy of this
How timely. I just started watching a Tarantino movie marathon. Believe it or not, I have only seen “Pulp Fiction” previously.
Really? They are all worth seeing, but keep in mind Jackie Brown and Death Proof are acquired tastes. I like them both, but admittedly less than most of Tarantino’s work. Kill Bill is one that really grew on me, though. I enjoyed the first one when it came out, but I feel in love with the second one, and then I revisited them both a year or so later and I adored both films.
